Uncle Luke
He is best known for being the former leader of rap group 2 Live Crew, and star of VH1, Luke’s Parental Advisory. The Miami Bass bad boy is one of the few American celebrities who has had an indelible impact on the worlds of rap music, sex, business, law, and politics simultaneously. Luke made national headlines in the early 1990s as a part of The 2 Live Crew when he led one of Hip-Hop’s most noted victories in society — the right of Freedom of Speech in our music. To date he has sold over 10 million records with hit albums “2 Live Is What We Are”, “Move Somethin’, “As Nasty As They Wanna Be” and his own solo albums including hit songs “Scarred”, “Raise The Roof”, “It’s Your Birthday”, “I Wanna Rock”, and many more.
